With the footy season fast approaching it’s that time of year again for our teams to look for Managers. If you are interested in volunteering the AFL are having a Coaches & Managers Forum on Monday 22nd February @ Emu Sports @ 7pm.
This night is just an information evening to let you know what is involved in being a Coach or Manager for our Club. If this is something that you think you would like to do, come along on the night and find out what it is all about. There is no obligation to become a Manager if you come along.
My role with the club this year is as the Coaches and Managers Co-Ordinator and as a past Manager I can answer any questions that you may have about the role. The role of team manager may seem daunting, but I can tell you that it is not hard, takes very little time and is very rewarding.
The club will also be it’s own Coaches and Mangers Training Forum at a later date for those of you who decide you would like to take on the role.
